Emergency Preparedness All residents are advised to have an emergency plan. It is recommended that each resident maintain an emergency supply kit consisting of a first aid kit, three-day supply of water, non-perishable food, battery operated radio and flashlight, extra batteries, portable electronic device charger, gloves, and medications.
Emergency Procedures a) ENP providers shall have a written Emergency/Disaster Plan.
Frequency Protection Should Company install any type of radio transceiver or other wireless communications equipment, Company will provide frequency protection within the aviation air/ground VHF frequency band and the UHF frequency band in accordance with restrictions promulgated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the vicinity of FAA Transmitter or Receiver facilities. Frequency protection will also be provided for all other frequency bands operating in the vicinity of Company’s equipment. Should interference occur as a result of Company’s installation, Authority reserves the right to shut down Company’s installation until appropriate remedies to the interference are made by Company. Such remedies may include relocation to another site. The cost of all such efforts to remedy the interference will be solely at Company’s expense.
Emergency Precautions Forest Service may require the necessary shutting down of equipment on portions of Purchaser’s Operations, as specified by the emergency fire precautions schedule of C7.22. Under such conditions, after Purchaser ceases active opera- tions, Purchaser shall release for hire by Forest Service, if needed, Purchaser’s shutdown equipment for fire standby on Sale Area or other areas of Purchaser’s Operations and personnel for fire standby or fire patrol, when such personnel and equipment are not needed by Purchaser for other fire fighting or protection from fire. Equipment shall be paid for at fire fighting equipment rates common in the area or at prior agreed rates and, if Purchaser re- quests, shall be operated only by personnel approved by Purchaser. Personnel so hired shall be subject to direc- tion and control by Forest Service and shall be paid by Forest Service at fire fighting rates common in the area or at prior agreed rates.
Emergency Procedure An employee may be immediately placed on an off-duty status (without pay) by the Employer, but remain on the rolls where the allegation involves intoxication (use of drugs or alcohol), pilferage, or failure to observe safety rules and regulations, or in cases where retaining the employee on duty may result in damage to U.S. Postal Service property, loss of mail or funds, or where the employee may be injurious to self or others. The employee shall remain on the rolls (non-pay status) until disposition of the case has been had. If it is proposed to suspend such an employee for more than fourteen (14) days or discharge the employee, the emergency action taken under this Section may be made the subject of a separate grievance.
Emergency Situations If the condition is an emergency, this will be communicated to the Contractor with the request that corrections are to be accomplished immediately. The Contractor shall respond to the notice in emergency situations within twenty-four hours. If the Contractor fails to respond within this time limit, the Owner may correct the defect and charge the Contractor for the Work. If it is determined the complaint is not the responsibility of the Contractor, the Contractor shall be promptly paid for the cost of the corrective work. The Contractor shall give notice in writing to the Owner when corrections have been completed.
Emergency Alert System The Franchisee shall comply with the applicable requirements of the FCC with respect to the operation of an Emergency Alert System (“EAS”) requirements of the FCC and applicable state and local EAS plans in order that emergency messages may be distributed over the Cable System.

Emergency Calls IP Phones need an additional power supply to operate. In the event of a power failure it is your responsibility to ensure you have the means to make emergency calls. In accordance with paragraph 13.2, we will not be liable for any loss or damage (financial or otherwise) where you fail to do so.
Non-Emergency Transportation Routine medical transportation to and from Medicaid-covered scheduled medical appointments is covered by the non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) broker Medicaid program. This includes transportation via multi-passenger van services and common carriers such as public railways, buses, cabs, airlines, ambulance as appropriate, and private vehicle transportation by individuals. The NEMT broker must approve ambulance, multi-passenger van services, and transportation by common carriers. The MCO must inform enrollees of how to access non-emergency transportation as appropriate.
