Common use of Emergency Safety Actions Clause in Contracts

Emergency Safety Actions. In an emergency affecting the safety of life or property, including adjoining property, Contractor, without previous instructions or authorizations from District, is authorized and shall act at its discretion and risk to prevent such threatened loss or injury, and Contractor shall bear all costs of that action, unless an addition to the GMP is warranted under Article 3 of the Facilities Lease. Contractor shall immediately notify the District Representative of such actions, and thereafter shall comply with any instructions issued by the District Representative.
