Common use of Employee Interview Clause in Contracts

Employee Interview. A new employee will be given an opportunity to meet with a representative of the Union for a period of up to thirty (30) minutes during the employee’s departmental orientation period without loss of regular earnings. The purpose of the meeting shall be to acquaint the employee with such representative of the Union and the Collective Agreement. The Union agrees that it shall cooperate with the Corporation by ensuring that a Union representative is made available for the purposes of this interview on the date and at the time the Corporation arranges the Departmental orientation noted above.
