Common use of Employee Required to Work within a District Clause in Contracts

Employee Required to Work within a District. An employee may be required to work at any place within a district and may be required to proceed direct to that place of work without proceeding to the head station. If the time necessarily spent by an employee in proceeding direct to and returning from such a place of work establishes a claim for payment for excess travelling time, it shall be dealt with under the general provisions of this clause.
