Employee Requirements. The employee must have enrolled, elected to defer, and in fact deferred a qualifying amount during the calendar year, to qualify for the match.
Employee Requirements. All employees of Contractor performing labor under this Agreement that have unsupervised access to students, including Contractor in the event that Contractor personally performs labor under this Agreement, shall be subjected to a name-based and fingerprint criminal background investigation conducted by an appropriate law enforcement agency. Contractor shall provide to the District the results of such investigation for each employee (including Contractor) prior to any such employee performing any services under this Agreement. The District shall have the authority, in the discretion of the District Superintendent, to prohibit Contractor from permitting any such employee to perform services under this Agreement on the basis of information set forth in the results of a criminal background investigation.

If an employee does not make a selection at that time, when he does select, the selection shall be made from the periods available.‌ 5. Part-Time Flexible employees may use a minimum of 30 hours leave to obtain a full week of scheduled leave.

Employee Requirements. If an existing or newly hired employee is required to take a physical exam, fingerprinting or drug test for employment purposes, the Board shall pay the cost of such items at the Board designated facility. The Board shall pay the cost of a CDL, physical exam and Bus Drivers Permit for all drivers who maintain a daily route and for head mechanics/shop foremen, mechanics and mechanic’s assistants. The CDL portion of this provision shall apply to new employees only if retained in employment for a period of more than ninety (90) calendar days. Drivers who do not maintain a daily route shall have their physical paid for by the District, providing seniority criteria has been met for the previous and/or current semester. Drivers who do not meet the seniority criteria for the previous and/or current semester shall pay for their physical exam, their annual refresher class fees, their state bus driver permit renewal fees and their CDL renewal fees. The Board shall reimburse physical exam costs after the driver meets the seniority criteria for the current fiscal year, upon submission of a receipt to the transportation office. When an employee is required to perform a mandatory random drug screening, he/she shall be compensated for two (2) hours at the employee’s regular hourly rate.

An employee may continue on a team after the required time period if they request to and it is approved by the team supervisor. b. Employees on special teams must participate in any mandatory training and associated drills, unless on approved leave or excused by the team supervisor. c. Employees must meet all the performance standards established for the special team. d. An employee on a special team is expected to respond to calls unless they are on approved leave or has another legitimate reason for not doing so. e. Employees must be eligible and available for calls and must be meeting the requirements of the assignment to receive any designated assignment pay.

Employee Requirements. A. The Board may change the assignments within any shift category in any emergency situation. Any change in regular assignment or transfer will consider and give preference to the district seniority of an employee provided the employee has the necessary qualifications and will be on notice to the Association and employee. B. Employees recognize that their obligation to the Board is primary. Therefore, no employee shall hold any additional job that interferes with his/her employment with the Board of Education. In the event an emergency exists, employees are expected to work overtime as assigned by the Supervisor of Facilities. Emergencies shall be defined as any condition that would affect the opening, safety or integrity of the buildings as determined by the Superintendent’s Office.
