Employee Response/Xxxxxx Meeting. The employee may respond to the Notice of Intent to Discipline either in person or in writing. 1. If the employee elects to respond in writing, the employee or his representative must file the employee’s response within ten (10) workdays after service of the Notice of Intent to Discipline. 2. If the employee elects to respond in person, the employee or his or her representative must request a meeting with the Department Head within ten (10) workdays after service of the Notice of Intent to Discipline. The Department Head shall hold a meeting with the employee within twenty (20) days of the employee’s request.
