EMPLOYEES REQUIRED TO WORK ON A PAID HOLIDAY. a. An employee who works on a paid holiday (i.e. the day the Holiday is observed) shall receive double time for all hours worked on that day and the holiday shall be rescheduled to a time mutually agreeable to the employee and the College (per Article 14.03(d) (Overtime Compensation)). b. When an employee works on both a Saturday or Sunday on which a Holiday falls and on the day that the Holiday is observed, the employee will receive overtime hours and a rescheduled holiday for the day the Holiday was observed in accordance with 18.03a, but not for the Saturday or Sunday on which s/he also worked. c. When an employee works on a Saturday or Sunday on which a Holiday falls but not the day that the Holiday is observed, the employee will receive overtime hours and a rescheduled holiday for the Saturday or Sunday and for that employee the day that the Holiday is observed will be a normal day of rest.
