Employer PERS Contribution Rate. The employer PERS contribution rate is established and adjusted annually for the employer by PERS Board of Administration. The City shall be solely responsible for payment of the employer contribution rate established by PERS, except as set forth in the respective employee cost-sharing provisions in Section E.

Employer PERS Contribution Rate. For the purposes of this section, “employer PERS contribution rate” means the percentage rate established annually by PERS as the employer cost for retirement benefits.
Employer PERS Contribution Rate. The employer PERS contribution rate is established and adjusted annually for the employer by PERS Board of Administration. The employer PERS contribution rate includes but is not limited to the following items: Administrative (non 3/12) Pay, the Master Police Officer Program Pay, Longevity Pay, holiday in-lieu pay and uniform allowance (for Classic PERS Members only), exclusive of overtime and reimbursement compensation. (Uniform allowance is not included in PERSable salary for PEPRA “New” Members, pursuant to AB 340.)

  • Contribution Rates ‌ The Employer's contribution rate to the pension fund shall be 8% of each employee's gross monthly earnings. The Employer shall also deduct from each eligible employee's gross monthly earnings 6% and remit that amount together with the Employer's required contribution on behalf of each employee to the pension fund.

  • How Do I Correct an Excess Contribution? If you make a contribution in excess of your allowable maximum, you may correct the excess contribution and avoid the 6% penalty tax for that year by withdrawing the excess contribution and its earnings on or before the date, including extensions, for filing your tax return for the tax year for which the contribution was made (generally October 15th). Any earnings on the withdrawn excess contribution may also be subject to the 10% early distribution penalty tax if you are under age 59½. In addition, although you will still owe penalty taxes for one or more years, excess contributions may be withdrawn after the time for filing your tax return. Excess contributions for one year may be carried forward and applied against the contribution limitation in succeeding years. An individual who is partially or entirely ineligible to make contributions to a Xxxx XXX may transfer amounts of up to the yearly contribution limits to a non-deductible Traditional IRA (subject to reduction for amounts remaining in the Xxxx XXX plus other Traditional IRA contributions).

  • Employer Contribution (a) An Employer contribution for health and dental benefits will only be made for each active employee who has at least eighty (80) paid regular hours in a month and who is eligible for medical insurance coverage, unless otherwise required by law.

  • Amount of Employer Contribution The Employer Contribution amounts and rules in effect on June 30, 2017 will continue through December 31, 2017.

  • Excess Contributions An excess contribution is any amount that is contributed to your IRA that exceeds the amount that you are eligible to contribute. If the excess is not corrected timely, an additional penalty tax of six percent will be imposed upon the excess amount. The procedure for correcting an excess is determined by the timeliness of the correction as identified below.

  • Matching Contributions The Employer will make matching contributions in accordance with the formula(s) elected in Part II of this Adoption Agreement Section 3.01.

  • Partial Employer Contribution - Basic Eligibility The following employees covered by this Agreement receive the full Employer Contribution for basic life coverage, and at the employee's option, a partial Employer Contribution for health and dental coverages if they are scheduled to work at least fifty (50) percent but less than seventy-five (75) percent of the time. This means:

  • Catch-Up Contributions In the case of a Traditional IRA Owner who is age 50 or older by the close of the taxable year, the annual cash contribution limit is increased by $1,000 for any taxable year beginning in 2006 and years thereafter.

  • Full Employer Contribution - Basic Eligibility Employees covered by this Agreement who are scheduled to work at least seventy-five (75) percent of the time are eligible for the full Employer Contribution. This means:

  • Employer Contributions 8.1 Rates at which the Employer shall contribute for each hour of work performed on behalf of each employee employed under the terms of this Agreement are contained in the Appendices attached to and forming part of this Agreement.
