Flat Badges. City agrees to provide flat badges for sale by Department to employees. The flat badge remains the property of City and, at the time of employee termination, the badge must be returned to the Department without reimbursement to the employee. However, if the employee is retiring and eligible for a retired badge, the Department will exchange the flat badge for a retired flat badge.
