Employer Reimbursed for Sick Leave. ‌ Employees are entitled to use their sick leave entitlement to cover absences due to illness or injury. However, with respect to any absence covered by sick leave, if the employee recovers any monies as compensation for lost wages from ICBC, WCB, a private insurer or any other source, the Employer shall be reimbursed for any sick leave pay that it may have paid to the employee and the employee's sick leave credits shall be proportionately reinstated.
