Employment Protection During the School Reorganisation Process. All staff vacancies that arise at all schools involved in a school reorganisation process following the announcement as described in clause 3 above shall be filled with temporary appointments. However, if curriculum delivery is threatened, the employer may determine, in consultation with the Ministry of Education, that any such position may be made permanent, subject to any staffing limitations. This restriction applies until the completion of the reassignment/reconfirmation process and notification period, except as provided elsewhere in this Appendix.
