Employment Status of School Resource Deputies. School Resource Deputies shall remain employees of the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, and shall not be employees of the School Board of Sarasota County. The School Board and the Sheriff acknowledge that the School Resource Deputies shall remain responsive to the chain of command of the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
