Common use of EMPLOYMENT STATUS STATEMENT Clause in Contracts

EMPLOYMENT STATUS STATEMENT. All Employees shall receive an annual individual Employment Status Statement. The Employment Status Statement shall be sent to each Employee within 45 work days after the beginning of the University's or ratification of any successor collective bargaining agreement, article, or portion thereof, whichever is later. The Employment Status Statement shall include: (1) The basic monthly salary of the Employee for the Academic Year including the salary increase components; (2) The Employee's status (e.g., where applicable: probationary, including probationary year; tenured; temporary; Academic Support Professional; terminal); (3) That the Employee's appointment is subject to the availability of funds, to the laws of the State of Illinois, and the Policies and Regulations of the Board of Trustees and the University, including the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Any modifications in the Employee's salary shall be reflected in a revised statement issued as soon as possible.
