Employment and Duties (a) The Company hereby employs Executive as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. As such, Executive shall have responsibilities, duties and authority reasonably accorded to, expected of, and consistent with Executive's position as, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and will report directly to the Board of Directors of the Company (the "Board"). Executive hereby accepts this employment upon the terms and conditions herein contained and, subject to paragraph 1(c), agrees to devote substantially all of his business time, attention and efforts to promote and further the business of the Company.
Employee Duties The Employee agrees that they will act in accordance with this Agreement and with the best interests of the Employer in mind, which may or may not require them to present the best of their skills, experience, and talents, to perform all the duties required of the position. In carrying out the duties and responsibilities of their position, the Employee agrees to adhere to any and all policies, procedures, rules, regulations, as administered by the Employer. In addition, the Employee agrees to abide by all local, county, State, and Federal laws while employed by the Employer.
DUTIES OF EMPLOYMENT Faculty Member agrees to perform the teaching, service, and research duties and responsibilities set forth in the written statement attached to this Agreement as Appendix “A” and incorporated herein by reference. Faculty Member and UNMC agree that Appendix A shall be periodically reviewed and revised as appropriate in accordance with Sections 3.4.4, 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3 of the Bylaws.
Employment of Consultants Part A General Consultants’ services shall be procured in accordance with the provisions of the Introduction and Section IV of the “Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers” published by the Bank in January 1997 and revised in September 1997 and January 1999 (the Consultant Guidelines) and the following provisions of Section II of this Schedule. Duration of Employment 5.1 A seafarer shall be engaged for the period specified in Appendix 1 to this Agreement and such period may be extended or reduced by the amount shown in Appendix 1 for operational convenience. The employment shall be automatically terminated upon the terms of this Agreement at the first arrival of the ship in port after expiration of that period, unless the Company operates a permanent employment system.
SCOPE AND DUTIES Client hires Attorney for the purpose of domestic relations litigation. Attorney shall provide those legal services reasonably required to represent Client, and shall take reasonable steps to keep Client informed of progress and to respond to Client’s inquiries. Client shall be truthful with Attorney, cooperate in the preparation and trial of the case, appear on reasonable notice for depositions and Court appearances, keep Attorney informed of developments, abide by this Agreement, pay Attorney’s bills on time and keep Attorney advised of Client’s address, telephone number, and whereabouts. Client agrees not to compromise the claim without discussing the matter with Attorney, in advance, and Attorney is not authorized to compromise the claim without Client’s consent. OTHER TERMS: None.
EMPLOYMENT TERM AND COMPENSATION A. The Board hereby employs the Employee for a salary of $6,547 per bi-weekly pay period ($170,210 Annualized), payable in installments less any legally authorized deductions as the DBM D71, Director, Application Development.
Skills and Duties An employee at this level performs work to the extent of their skills competence and training. Employees will acquire skills both formal and informal over time and with experience, and will undertake indicative tasks and duties within the scope of skills they possess. An employee at this level:
Personal Duties The Employer and the Union agree that an employee will not be required to perform work not related to the business of the Employer. To this end, it is agreed that an employee will not be required to perform duties of a personal nature for supervisory personnel.
Position and Duties (i) During the Employment Period, (A) the Executive's position (including status, offices, titles and reporting requirements), authority, duties and responsibilities shall be at least commensurate in all material respects with the most significant of those held, exercised and assigned at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date and (B) the Executive's services shall be performed at the location where the Executive was employed immediately preceding the Effective Date or any office or location less than 35 miles from such location.
