Common use of Engine Manual Clause in Contracts

Engine Manual. The Engine Manual is a document which will be structured in accordance with ATA 100 section 2-13-0 with JEMTOSS applied in accordance with section 2-13-14. The manual will provide, in one place, the technical data requirements for information needed to maintain the engine and the maximum potential number of parts that could, regardless of design responsibility, remain with the engine when it is removed from the airplane. Additionally the manual includes coverage of interrelated parts (e.g. thrust reverser, cowlings, mounts, etc.) that can stay with the airplane when the engine is removed or can be removed for maintenance purposes in lieu of individual component maintenance manuals.
