English Learners. The Charter School shall address the needs of EL students pursuant to applicable federal and state laws and regulations (including Title III of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI)). The Charter School agrees to maintain and consistently implement a policy to identify students in need of EL services, to provide services in an equitable manner to ensure meaningful access to the school’s educational program (including the provision of appropriate accommodations), and to facilitate obtaining English proficiency and exit from EL services according to individual student capacity. In addition, the Charter School shall ensure that Limited English Proficiency (LEP) parents and guardians have meaningful access to school-related information.
