Environmental Impact Assessment and Nature Conservation. The procedures for environmental impact assessment as set down in the EIA-directive5 fully apply to all investment projects under IPA. If a project falls within the scope of annex 1 or annex 2 of the EIA-directive, the implementation of the EIA-procedure must be documented6.
