Equal Stream. 1. At the Location an employee must displace the least senior employee in an equal classification. Refusal to accept results in termination of employment. If no position is available, then; 2. Where an employee has so elected on the Option/Election Form, he/she must displace the most junior employee with less seniority in the Province in the employee’s former classification provided the employee was in the classification within five (5) years of the date the notice of termination/layoff was issued pursuant to 11.5. Failure to accept results in termination of employment. If no position is available, then; 3. The employee will move to the "Lower Stream", or, if eligible, the surplus employee who has elected to displace in an equal classification in the Province must displace the most junior employee with less seniority in the Province.
