Evaluating Historic and Archaeological Significance. For any undertaking that may affect properties that have not been previously evaluated for eligibility to the National Register of Historic Places, the VAOT Archaeology Officer and Historic Preservation Officer shall apply the National Register Criteria (36 C.F.R. 60.4), and shall make an appropriate finding regarding eligibility pursuant to 36 C.F.R. 800.4(c). VAOT shall notify FTA and any interested person that this finding has been made and shall provide copies to SHPO of adequate documentation to support that finding for inspection by the public. Prior to any finding of eligibility or non-eligibility, VAOT may consult with SHPO regarding application of the criteria contained in 36 C.F.R.

Copies of these findings with supporting documentation shall be forwarded as they are generated to SHPO for their records.
Evaluating Historic and Archaeological Significance. For any undertaking that may affect properties not previously evaluated for, but identified as potentially eligible for, the NRHP, Mn/DOT CRU shall apply the National Register Criteria, and shall make an appropriate finding regarding eligibility pursuant to 36 CFR 800.4(c). In applying the National Register criteria, the Mn/DOT CRU staff will consult with Indian tribes that may ascribe traditional cultural and religious significance to historic properties in the APE. The Mn/DOT CRU staff shall document its determination process as per the terms of Stipulation 4 of this PA.

  • Legal Significance Patient acknowledges that this Agreement is a legal document and creates certain rights and responsibilities. Patient also acknowledges having had a reasonable time to seek legal advice regarding the Agreement and has either chosen not to do so or has done so and is satisfied with the terms and conditions of the Agreement.

  • Geological and Archeological Specimens If, during the execution of the Work, the Contractor, any Subcontractor, or any servant, employee, or agent of either should uncover any valuable material or materials, such as, but not limited to, treasure trove, geological specimens, archival material, archeological specimens, or ore, the Contractor acknowledges that title to the foregoing is vested in the Owner. The Contractor shall notify the Owner upon the discovery of any of the foregoing, shall take reasonable steps to safeguard it, and seek further instruction from the Design Professional. Any additional cost incurred by the Contractor shall be addressed under the provision for changed conditions. The Contractor agrees that the Geological and Water Resources Division and the Historic Preservation Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources may inspect the Work at reasonable times.

  • Geological and archaeological finds It is expressly agreed that mining, geological or archaeological rights do not form part of this Agreement with the Contractor for the Works, and the Contractor hereby acknowledges that it shall not have any mining rights or interest in the underlying minerals, fossils, antiquities, structures or other remnants or things either of particular geological or archaeological interest and that such rights, interest and property on or under the Site shall vest in and belong to the Authority or the concerned Government Instrumentality. The Contractor shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent its workmen or any other person from removing or damaging such interest or property and shall inform the Authority forthwith of the discovery thereof and comply with such instructions as the concerned Government Instrumentality may reasonably give for the removal of such property. For the avoidance of doubt, it is agreed that any reasonable expenses incurred by the Contractor hereunder shall be reimbursed by the Authority. It is also agreed that the Authority shall procure that the instructions hereunder are issued by the concerned Government Instrumentality within a reasonable period.

  • ARCHAEOLOGY Lessee shall not destroy, disturb, mar, collect, remove or alter any prehistoric or historic resources of any kind on Weld County lands as provided by law. These resources include, but are not limited to, all artifacts of stone, wood or metal, pictographs, structures, and bones. A discovery of anything of prehistoric or historic nature shall be reported to Lessor or the State of Colorado Archaeologist immediately.

  • Professional Development; Adverse Consequences of School Exclusion; Student Behavior The Board President or Superintendent, or their designees, will make reasonable efforts to provide ongoing professional development to Board members about the adverse consequences of school exclusion and justice-system involvement, effective classroom management strategies, culturally responsive discipline, appropriate and available supportive services for the promotion of student attendance and engagement, and developmentally appropriate disciplinary methods that promote positive and healthy school climates, i.e., Senate Bill 100 training topics. Board Self-Evaluation The Board will conduct periodic self-evaluations with the goal of continuous improvement. New Board Member Orientation The orientation process for newly elected or appointed Board members includes:

  • Knowledge and Scholarship in Special Field Each certificated support person demonstrates a depth and breadth of knowledge of theory and content in the special field.   • Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults The Supplier will comply with all applicable legislation and codes of practice, including, where applicable, all legislation and statutory guidance relevant to the safeguarding and protection of children and vulnerable adults and with the British Council’s Child Protection Policy, as notified to the Supplier and amended from time to time, which the Supplier acknowledges may include submitting to a check by the UK Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) or the equivalent local service; in addition, the Supplier will ensure that, where it engages any other party to supply any of the Services under this Agreement, that that party will also comply with the same requirements as if they were a party to this Agreement.

  • Inherently Religious Activities Grantee may not use grant funding to engage in inherently religious activities, such as proselytizing, scripture study, or worship. Grantees may engage in inherently religious activities; however, these activities must be separate in time or location from the grant- funded program. Moreover, grantees must not compel program beneficiaries to participate in inherently religious activities. These requirements apply to all grantees, not just faith-based organizations.

  • Project Understanding This project is understood to be the replacement of one (1) hydraulic elevator. The project delivery system is understood to be Design−Bid. Our electrical engineering services for this project will consist of the following. Services not indicated below are considered outside of our basic scope and will be provided upon request as an additional service. It is our understanding that the design of this project will include four (4) deliverables as defined below. The design duration for this project is estimated to be six (6) weeks (not including owner review).
