Common use of Excess Fares Allowance Clause in Contracts

Excess Fares Allowance. (a) Where an Employee is directed to work away from their normal place of work on any day the Employee will be paid the prevailing excess fares allowance under the Award from time to time to compensate for excess fares. This provision does not apply if the employer provides or offers to provide suitable transport free of charge to the employee.
