Common use of Excessive Floor Load Clause in Contracts

Excessive Floor Load. Landlord shall have the right to prescribe the weight and method of installation and position of safes, filing facilities or other heavy fixtures or equipment. Tenant will not, without Landlord’s prior written approval, install in the Premises any fixtures, equipment or machinery that will place a load upon the floor exceeding the designed floor load capacity. Tenant shall be liable for all damage (other than normal and reasonable wear and tear) done to the Building by installing or removing a safe or any other article of Tenant’s office equipment, or due to its being in the Premises.
