Common use of Excessive Floor Load Clause in Contracts

Excessive Floor Load. Landlord shall have the right to prescribe the weight and method of installation and position of safes, computer equipment, or other heavy fixtures or equipment. Tenant will not install in the Demised Premises any fixtures, equipment or machinery that will place a load upon the floor exceeding the designed floor load capacity of the building. Landlord may prescribe the placement and positioning of all such objects within the building, and such objects shall be placed upon platforms, plates or footings of such size as Landlord shall prescribe if necessary. All damage done to the building by installing or removing a safe or any other article of Tenant's office equipment, or due to its being in the Demised Premises, shall be repaired at the expense of Tenant.
