Excessive Unemployment Sample Clauses

Excessive Unemployment. The Contract hereby agrees to comply with the provisions of Section 290.550. et seq., of the Revised Statutes of Missouri (hereinafter the “Excessive Unemployment Law” and incorporated herein by reference), when there is “a period of excessive unemployment” (as that term is defined under the Excessive Unemployment Law). This requirement includes, without limitation, the obligation to use only “Missouri laborers” and “laborers from nonrestrictive states” (as those terms are defined under the Excessive Unemployment Law) in construction or building any public works project or improvement, except as may otherwise be allowed under the Excessive Unemployment Law.

Excessive Unemployment. 1. Resident Laborers” means laborers who have been residents of the State of Missouri for at least thirty days and who intend to remain Missouri residents, and residents of Nonrestrictive States.
Excessive Unemployment. When the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations determines that a period of “Excessive Unemployment” remains in effect and will remain in effect if the unemployment rate exceeds 5% in the state of Missouri, Vendors for construction, reconstruction, demolition, painting and decorating, or major repair for public works projects agree to employ only Missouri laborers and laborers from nonrestrictive states on the public works projects. (§§ 290.550 through 290.580 RSMo).

  • Unemployment Insurance Unemployment Insurance coverage will be provided during the life of this Agreement for regular and auxiliary employees who would, if employed by a private employer, be eligible for such coverage under the provisions of the Unemployment Insurance Act.

  • State Disability Insurance (“SDI”) 215. Employees in the bargaining unit(s) covered by this agreement shall be enrolled in the State Disability Insurance Program. The cost of SDI will be paid by the employee through payroll deduction at a rate established by the State of California Employment Development Department.
