Painting and Decorating. All painting and decorating in the Premises must be agreed to in writing and in advance by Owner. Any such work as may be agreed to be done by and at the expense of Owner shall be done during regular working hours. Should Tenant desire such work to be done outside of regular working hours, Tenant shall pay the extra cost thereof.
Painting and Decorating. The Tenant may at any time and from time to time at its expense, paint and decorate the interior of the Leased Premises, install trade fixtures and equipment, and make such changes, alterations, additions and improvements in and to the Leased Premises, all as will in the judgment of the Tenant better the Leased Premises for the purposes for which the same are permitted to be used hereunder; provided, however, that no changes, alterations, additions or improvements to the structure, any perimeter wall, the heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical or mechanical equipment or the concrete floor or the roof shall be made without the prior written consent of the Landlord, and without the use of contractors or other qualified workmen to be approved by the Landlord. All changes, alterations, additions and improvements, whether structural or otherwise, shall comply with all applicable statutes, regulations or by-laws of any municipal, provincial or other governmental authority. The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord the Landlord's reasonable engineering fees in reviewing such plans and the amount of the increase for any action by the Tenant pursuant to this paragraph; and the Tenant covenants that such insurance shall not thereby be made liable to avoidance or cancellation by the insurer by reason of such changes, alterations, additions or improvements.
Painting and Decorating. IPF is not funded to paint interior spaces and offices; however, IPF does try to paint in public areas as conditions warrant through special funding requests. External and internal painted surfaces typically last for ten (10) years or more except for high traffic areas or harsh environments. General fund services include: • N/A Cost recovery services include: • Cosmetic painting • Furniture painting or refinishing • Changing colors on occupant’s request • Repairing damaged walls caused by the occupant or someone under their control • Repair of damage caused by others under control of the faculty/division/entity • All costs associated with the above work for enterprises, auxiliary units or affiliated bodies are not funded from IPF’s general fund responsibilities
Painting and Decorating. Exposed walls shall have a minimum two coat finish and all natural wood a minimum of one sealer coat. The, walls and ceilings of the toilet rooms shall have a two-coat, semi-gloss finish.
Painting and Decorating. RESIDENT shall do no painting. OWNER will paint any room at the request of RESIDENT in white at the cost of _________ per room plus cost of paint. Other decorating shall be done only with the written consent of OWNER. If RESIDENT does any painting without the consent of OWNER, the charge to repaint shall be __________ per room if any color was used other than white, and _______ per room if white was used, plus the cost of the paint at _______ per gallon. WALLPAPER/BORDERS: No wallpaper or borders shall be allowed without written consent of OWNER.
Painting and Decorating. Tenant will not paint or decorate any part of the exterior of the Premises, or change the architectural treatment thereof, without first obtaining Landlord's written approval of such painting or decoration. Tenant will remove promptly upon order of Landlord any paint or any such decoration which has been so applied or installed without Landlord's prior written approval, or take such action with reference thereof as Landlord may direct.
Painting and Decorating. Tenant shall paint and keep the Premises, including the storefront thereof, in good repair, but Tenant shall not change the decorative or architectural treatment of the storefront (including the paint colors), the interior or the exterior of the Premises without Landlord's written consent. Tenant shall promptly remove, upon order from Landlord, any decoration or architectural change which has been applied to or installed upon the Premises without Landlord's written consent or take such other action with reference thereto as Landlord may direct.

The tenant will be responsible and be held liable for any damage occurring while carrying out work agreed upon by the landlord.

All changes, alterations, additions and improvements, whether structural or otherwise, shall comply with all applicable statutes, regulations and by-laws of any municipal, provincial or other governmental authority. The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord the amount of the increase for any insurance coverage and/or municipal realty taxes to the extent that such increase is directly attributable to any action by the Tenant under this Section; and the Tenant covenants that such insurance shall not thereby be made liable to avoidance or cancellation by the insurer by reason of such changes, alterations, additions or improvements.
