Executive Assistants. Employees in titles such as Management Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Executive Secretary, or similar titles are excluded from the bargaining unit if their role is to be the direct confidential assistant to an executive-level manager (Director-level or Department Head or higher) or the administrative assistant for a work group, and their work includes the handling of confidential communications and information that affect bargaining unit members, such as financial projections, discussions about reductions in force, compensation decisions, strategic planning, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and the like.
