Common use of Expedited Arbitration/Mediation Clause in Contracts

Expedited Arbitration/Mediation. (i) Notwithstanding the above, the parties may mutually agree to refer a grievance to expedited arbitration/mediation. The parties may mutually agree to a single arbitrator who shall hear the grievance(s) and render a decision within two (2) working days of the hearing. No written reasons for the decision shall be provided beyond that which the Arbitrator deems appropriate to convey a decision.
