Experience Level Definition. The professional labor category experience and education requirements corresponding to the three levels specified (Junior, Mid and Senior) are as follows: • JUNIOR: A Junior level person within a labor category generally has less than three (3) years’ experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a BA/BS degree (or a qualifying substitution as identified in this section). A Junior level person is responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions. • MID: A Mid-level person within a labor category has three (3) or more years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a BA/BS degree or a qualifying substitution as identified in this section. A Mid-level person typically performs all functional duties independently.
