Extended Contracts. Extended contracts (more than 189 days) may be offered on a voluntary basis. Extended contracts will be paid for at the per diem rate determined by dividing the teacher's annual salary by the number of contract days as provided in Article 14, Working Conditions (Work Day and Year). Additional special project contracts shall be written for the teacher’s per diem rate.
