Extended Disability Plan. 222 Eligibility – Regular full-time employees with at least sixty (60) continuous full-time equivalent service months are eligible for extended disability leave. 223 Usage – In cases which are expected to result in total disability, eligible employees will be granted extended disability leave with full pay and benefits for up to six (6) months from last day worked. This leave will include the aggregate of accumulated sick leave, vacation and personal leave to the extent these benefits are due the employee. This leave will be extended beyond six (6) months until all paid leave accruals have been exhausted. Employee agrees to repay the University all extended disability leave benefits paid, if Employee does not receive long-term disability benefits.
