Extended Health and Dental Plans. 19. Commencing January 1, 2010, a Health Care Spending Account (HCSA) shall be made available to each Full-Time Member. The HCSA is intended to operate in accordance with the Canada Revenue Agency's guidelines for private health services plans, as amended from time to time. Amounts credited to the HCSA for each Member shall be used to reimburse the Member for qualified out-of-pocket health-related expenses. Qualified expenses include expenses that qualify for the medical expense tax credit, as defined under the Income Tax Act (Canada) and its Regulations, where such expenses are not covered or reimbursable under any other insurance or benefit program.
