Common use of EXTENDED LEAVES OF ABSENCE Clause in Contracts

EXTENDED LEAVES OF ABSENCE. A. A leave of absence without pay of up to one (1) year may be granted to any tenured teacher who joins the Peace Corps or AmericCorps VISTA, serves as a full-time exchange teacher or overseas teacher, or accepts a Fulbright Scholarship with Board approval.
