Extra Duty Pay. All Elementary and Middle School Extra-Curricular stipends have been cut due to budgetary constraints for the FY25 contract year. • PBIS Extra-Curricular Stipends for all schools have been cut for the FY25 contract year. 1. Extra-duty shall be defined as any assignment which extends beyond the normal duty day, involves direct and continued teaching and supervision of students, and which is apart from normal teaching duties. 2. No compensation will be paid for any of the activities listed in Appendix C unless the teacher spends a minimum of fifty (50) hours outside the school day teaching and/or supervising students. 3. As extra-duty activities are an integral part of education, the following criteria shall be utilized to insure a high standard of performance: a. Principals shall strive to distribute extra-duty assignments equitably among their staff. b. Principals shall inform their teachers of all school activities and encourage them to participate. c. Principals shall strive not to assign a teacher more than one extra-duty assignment as defined herein. d. A principal shall hold a conference with a teacher prior to making an extra-duty assignment. e. No teacher shall be given full payment for two or more activities that are conducted at the same time each day with the exception of high school athletic directors. Arrangements for partial remuneration must be made beforehand and with the approval of the Superintendent. 4. Participation in extra-duty activities shall be on a volunteer basis. 5. Extra-duty shall be based upon the number of times the product of the extra-duty teacher's efforts is exhibited (i.e. athletic event, dramatic performance, musical, band performance, parade, concert). The minimum number of events and the county-wide monetary value of each event shall be jointly established by the Board and the Association and approved by each party. The maximum amount to be paid shall be that shown in Appendix C.

15.4.2. Extra-duty pay shall be defined as any assignment which extends beyond allowed only for those job assignments listed on the normal extra duty dayschedule. It is understood that the Board and Administration are not required to assign individuals to fill said assignments. The Board and Administration also reserve the right to review participation numbers and consider the reduction of clubs and/or activities with the intent of replacing with other opportunities. The number of assistant coaches will be determined, involves direct based on participation numbers and continued teaching and supervision of students, and which is apart from normal teaching dutiessafety considerations.

4. Participation vacancies in extra-duty activities positions will be posted on the teacher bulletin board in each attendance center as provided in Section 7.4 of the agreement. The Superintendent and/or his designee shall be on a volunteer basisfirst attempt to fill extra-duty positions with District No. 88 certified staff members. Among the certified staff who express interest, the administration will make every effort to distribute the assignments equitably.
55.4.4. ExtraIt is further understood that the final selection and assignment of personnel to extra-duty shall be based upon positions is a managerial prerogative and is solely a discretionary decision of the number Board of times the product of Education.
5.4.5. In addition to the extra-duty teacher's efforts is exhibited (i.e. athletic eventschedule, dramatic performanceteachers who are assigned responsibilities, musicalas ticket sellers, band performanceticket takers, paradetimers, concert). The minimum number of events scorers, and the countybus chaperones, for extra-wide monetary value of each event curricular activities, shall be jointly established compensated according to the schedule found in Appendix “F.”
5.4.6. Drivers Education Teachers who are covered by the Board and the Association and approved by each party. The maximum amount to be paid this agreement shall be that shown compensated on an hourly basis according to the schedule found in Appendix C.“F” for every hour worked beyond the school day as a Drivers Education Teacher.
