Hazardous Duty Pay. Employees who have consented and are required to perform asbestos work will continue to be eligible for a 50% work differential for time spent performing such duties. This differential shall be paid 1/10 hour increments, including time spent by the employee changing into and removing program specified clothing and equipment. Maryland Port employees who are currently covered under the $ 10.00 per hour, or 50% per hour of the hourly wage whichever is greater, chrome pay differential, will continue to receive differential. This provision will also cover any existing hazardous duty differential currently provided.

Hazardous Duty Pay. The Employer and the Council recognize that bargaining unit members serving as Bomb Squad Officers, Hazardous Material Handlers, and S.W.A.T. Members are subject to substantially greater risks, and that the consequences of error inherent in such functions are significantly greater than those associated with the duties of other bargaining unit members.
Hazardous Duty Pay. If applicable, employees who consent and are required to perform asbestos work shall receive a salary differential equal to one and a half (1 ½) times of their current salary for all time spent performing such duties. Payment of this differential shall be on an hour-by-hour basis and shall include time the employees spent removing program specified clothing and equipment.
Hazardous Duty Pay. (a) Employees in the Department of Environmental Protection who perform hazardous duty during the hours between dusk and xxxx shall receive an additional twenty-five percent (25%) hazardous duty pay for all hours so worked. Hazardous Duty Pay. Hazardous duty pay shall be paid to employees who, after receiving prior permission from the appropriate bureau/office head or designee, performs specifically assigned tasks that involve: Working on a hanging or swing stage or fixed scaffolding where a free fall of over 40 feet is possible. $1.25 per hour Performing "Operations and Maintenance" (O & M) cleaning related to asbestos material abatement and requiring the use of protective clothing, devices, and equipment.
Hazardous Duty Pay. Subject to the provisions set forth below, all employees in this unit will be eligible to receive up to a total of five (5) hazardous duty payments in the amount of $1,000 each. These payments shall not be added to base pay and shall not be included in Final Average Compensation for Retirement purposes.
