Common use of Extra Duty Pay Clause in Contracts

Extra Duty Pay. Teachers assigned extra duties shall be paid in addition to their basic salary not to exceed the amount or amounts stipulated herein. The stipend includes pay for services rendered before school starts, during vacation periods, and after school closes according to the assignment of the school employers. A teacher’s appointment to an extra duty assignment(s) shall be on a year-to-year basis at the sole discretion of the school employer and not subject to the grievance procedure.
