2.8 CONNECTIONS
A. General: Weld or high-strength bolt all connections.
B. High-Strength Bolted Connections:
1. Tension: Tighten each bolt to provide, when all fasteners in a joint are tight, at least minimum tension listed in Table 8.1 of the “Specifications for Structural Joints Using ASTM A325 or A490 Bolts”.
