Failure to Receive Acceptance of Reemployment. If the District fails to receive an acceptance within ten (10) calendar days after sending the offer, it shall consider that the unit member has declined that offer of reemployment. If a unit member declines a second offer, he/she shall have waived the right to reemployment offers until he/she notifies the District of availability within the remainder of his/her reemployment period. Any offers of reemployment in lower classification or for fewer hours or workdays than the position from which the unit member was laid off may be declined without prejudice.
