Common use of Falling on a Weekend Clause in Contracts

Falling on a Weekend. All employees, whose regular weekly days off are Saturday and Sunday on a permanent basis, the following rules shall apply: When any of the above holidays falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the manager shall designate another working day, either the preceding Friday or the following Monday to be observed as the holiday in lieu thereof. For all employees whose regular weekly days off are not Saturday and Sunday the holiday will be observed on the day it occurs.

For all employees whose regular weekly days off are not Saturday and Sunday the holiday will be observed on the day it occurs.
