Family Medical Insurance and Cash In Lieu Plan. Employees may participate in either the Family Medical Insurance Plan or the Cash In Lieu Plan. Employees shall select either the Family Medical Insurance Plan or the Cash In Lieu Plan annually during the Town’s open enrollment period, or at any other time permitted by the Public Employees’ Medical and Hospital Care Act (PEMHCA), such as a qualifying event (e.g., birth of a child, marriage, spouse losing medical insurance, etc.).
