Family Sick-Leave Usage. Leave with pay up to six (6) standard workdays may be granted during a calendar year by the department head for an employee who must care for a parent, son, daughter, spouse, domestic partner or person of familial relationship residing in the same household during illness. Such leave shall be charged against accumulated sick leave. Also see Article 3.9.4.
