Common use of Field Service Clause in Contracts

Field Service. 1. When employees covered by this Agreement engage in field services away from their base station, they shall be paid for such work on the same basis as at their base station, with a minimum of eight (8) or ten (10) hours, whichever is applicable, at straight time rate for each twenty-four (24) hour period. For pay purposes the twenty-four (24) hour period starts with the beginning of the employee's last regular shift.
