Common use of FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION Clause in Contracts

FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION. The parties recognize that The City of Lake Forest Fire and Police Commission has certain statutory authority over employees covered by this Agreement, including but not limited to the right to make, alter, and enforce rules and regulations and impose disciplinary sanctions. Nothing in this Agreement is intended in any way to replace or diminish any such authority.

The City Manager or his designee shall meet regularly with representatives of the Union to review and discuss any concerns regarding the proceedings of the BFPC as it relates to the discipline of bargaining unit employees.
