Common use of Fire Department Clause in Contracts

Fire Department. Fire Department employees shall be paid for overtime work at a rate equal to time and one-half their regular rates of pay for all work in excess of forty (40) hours per week when these Employees are assigned to a forty (40) hour work week. When Fire Department Employees are assigned to a forty-eight (48) hour workweek overtime will be paid after forty-eight (48) hours of work in that workweek.
