Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness. The Company will pay an employee his/her regular day’s pay for every scheduled workday that s/he is attending jury duty. However, any pay that s/he may receive for his/her jury service, from other sources, excluding travel allowance, shall be signed over to the Company. It is expected that an employee will report to work if jury duty is not required on a normal workday. This section shall also apply to an employee who is subpoenaed as a witness, provided the employee is not the accused.

Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness. “Day” for jury duty/subpoenaed witness time off with pay for employees on the alternate shift pattern shall mean twelve (12) hours. All other conditions apply as per the collective agreement.
Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness. Teachers will be granted leave without loss of pay for jury duty or as a result of a subpoena. Teachers are required to notify the supervising Administrator upon receipt of a notice of being selected for jury duty or being subpoenaed. Immediately upon such notification, a copy of the notice or other proof shall be given to the supervising Administrator.
Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness. 1. The Board will insure all bargaining unit members against loss of pay and/or benefits occasioned by a call to jury duty or as a subpoenaed witness. A subpoenaed witness, as used in this section, shall be for school-related business. 2. Should a bargaining unit member be called for jury duty or as a subpoenaed, witness, he/she shall report same to the Superintendent. Bargaining unit members called for jury duty or as a subpoenaed witness shall be permitted to serve and will not be penalized in any way for doing so. They will receive full pay and/or benefits, if they endorse the check received from the court or pay the amount shown on their record slip. 3. While on jury duty or serving as a subpoenaed witness, bargaining unit members are required to report daily their schedule for the following day.
Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness. 20.1 Employees who have completed their probationary period will be paid the difference between the amount paid for such service (not including transportation allowance) and their regular base rate for each day of Jury Duty, or as a subpoenaed witness. 20.2 Employees must notify their production supervisor immediately after receipt of the selection for Jury Duty or subpoena, and must complete and sign the "Request for Jury Duty Pay" form available from the supervisor. Employees must also furnish a written statement from the appropriate public official showing the date and the time served and the amount of pay received.
Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness. 38.01 Any seniority employee who is called to and reports for jury duty or is subpoenaed as a witness shall be compensated by the Company by being paid the difference between the employee's hourly rate and the rate paid by the Court per day for each day of jury duty or witness duty performed on which the employee otherwise would have been scheduled to work for the Company and does not work. Such compensation shall be payable only if the employee gives the Company prior notice of such jury duty or witness duty call and presents proper evidence as to the jury duty or witness duty performed. It is understood that if an employee is called and dismissed so that he/she can come in to work by noon, this will be expected of him/her.
Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness. 22.01 An employee who is prevented from working his scheduled shift due to being on Jury Duty, reporting for Jury Roll-call or as a Subpoenaed Witness shall be paid the difference between the pay received for such Jury Duty or Subpoenaed Witness and eight times the straight time hourly rate he would otherwise have received. 22.02 An employee scheduled to work the midnight to 8:00 a.m. shift or tour immediately prior to reporting for Jury Duty, Jury Roll-call or Subpoenaed Witness on that date will be excused, upon request, and the terms of this Article will be applied. 22.03 In making application for such payment, the employee is required to submit supporting documents as to days of service and fee received.

The Company shall pay a SENIORITY employee who is required to attend at Court for the purpose of a subpoenaed witness for each day of service 60% of gross earnings. The employee will p resent p roof of service from the courts.
Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness. The District shall pay the regular salary to educators called to serve as a juror or subpoenaed to appear in court or before legislative bodies as witnesses. As a condition of receipt of this benefit, the educator shall turn over to the District any fees received for jury duty or witness fees, exclusive of expenses.
Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness. 19.01 The Employer agrees to pay an employee who is summoned for jury duty or subpoenaed as a Crown Witness the difference between his pay received as a juror or a Crown Subpoenaed Witness and the pay he would have received had he worked his regular scheduled working hours at his regular hourly rate. To qualify for such make-up pay, the employee must promptly notify the Employer of his selection for Jury Duty or as a Crown Subpoenaed Witness.
