FIREARMS AND FIRST AID. 16.1 Each officer shall be required to qualify with departmental and/or in-service weapons not less than semi-annually in accordance with the procedures set forth in Department Rules and Regulations. Each officer will be provided with an allowance of up to 100 rounds per month for the purpose of practice with their assigned weapon. This amount shall not be cumulative. 16.2 Each officer shall maintain a current CPR certification. The City will provide first aid equipment in all vehicles. 16.3 The Department shall have the right to substitute other required training, including qualification on other department weapons for the required handgun qualification set forth in Section 16.1.
