Section 16.1. 20 Employees shall be compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement for all hours
Section 16.1. 21 The term of this Agreement shall be September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2024.
Section 16.1. 29 Employees shall be compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement for all hours 30 worked. Consistent with payroll processing requirements and capabilities, each employee shall receive 31 a full accounting of authorized deductions, hours worked, and rates paid with each paycheck.
Section 16.1. 37 The District will make every effort to comply with applicable safety codes as set forth in Federal or 38 State law, and the employees will cooperate in the use of all safety devices. A maximum of one (1) 39 hour will be provided to transportation personnel when necessary to clean up from substances such as 40 diesel fuel, bodily fluids, etc. Employees will cooperate with the District in the maintenance of a 41 generally well kept area, and equipment. The District will discontinue the practice of having regular 42 drivers participate in the transportation department safety committee which reviews and makes 43 recommendation for or against their peers. 45 Employees who submit a bus incident report informing the District of any act of physical violence 46 against a driver or transportation assistant shall meet with the District within three (3) working day of 47 the incident (or as soon as the driver or transportation assistant is physically able to meet). The District 48 will provide a written plan of help with the said student for the transportation employee’s safety.
Section 16.1. 34 When an employee leaves a school district within the State and commences employment with this 35 District, the employee shall retain the same leave benefits and other benefits the employee had in the 36 previous position. Seniority rights shall not be transferred in any manner whatsoever. Longevity (years 37 of employment in a position) is considered an "other benefit" and will be transferred (for example, 38 placement on vacation schedule, salary schedule). 39
Section 16.1. 35 When any employee leaves a school district within the state and commences employment with this 36 District, the employee shall retain the same leave benefits and other benefits that the employee had in 37 the previous position, excepting transfer of seniority. 38
Section 16.1. 21 Grievances or complaints arising between the District and its employees within the bargaining unit 22 defined in Article I herein, with respect to matters dealing with the interpretation or application of the 23 Terms and Conditions of this Agreement, shall be resolved in strict compliance with this Article.
Section 16.1. 29 In the mutual interest of the District and Association, the District will provide, with prior 30 superintendent’s approval, the following.
Section 16.1. In the first year of this Agreement, effective the first full pay period in November 2017 bargaining unit employees shall receive seventy-five cents (.75¢) per hour wage increase. In the second year of this Agreement, effective the first full pay period in July 2018, bargaining unit employees shall receive a 2.5% wage increase. In the third year of this Agreement, effective the first full pay period in July 2019, bargaining unit employees shall receive a 2.5% wage increase. Effective upon ratification of this Agreement, the minimum and maximum rates shall be as follows: Minimum Maximum LPN $ 16.00 $ 25.00 RN $ 20.00 $ 30.00 Nurses hired after the effective date of this Agreement may receive a 2% increase above the minimum base rate for each year of relevant job experience up to a maximum of ten (10) years or twenty per cent (20%) above the base rate. If the nurse’s rate would be greater than the rate of a bargaining unit employee in the same position with the same years of experience, then the nurse’s rate shall be adjusted to the same rate as the bargaining unit employee.
Section 16.1. 35 The purpose of this procedure is to provide for an orderly method of resolving grievances or complaints 36 arising between the District and its employees within the bargaining unit defined in Article I herein with 37 respect to matters dealing with the interpretation or application of the terms and conditions of this 38 Agreement shall be resolved in strict compliance with this Article. Time limits under unusual 39 circumstances may be extended by mutual consent. Employees have the right to Association 40 representation at all times during this procedure. Employees have the right to forego Association 41 representation in this procedure and at any time during the process may choose to withdraw their 42 grievance.
