Fiscal Rights and Responsibilities. A. Any employee whose duty it is to collect, count, and deposit monies and negotiable paper shall be responsible for such only when such monies and negotiable papers are under the direct control of said responsible employee. All bank deposits made by employees shall be in locked bags. B. Employees charged with the responsibility of depositing monies shall be reimbursed at the per mile rate approved by the District for travel required to make deposits.
