Float Bonus. 179. An employee who agrees to float (voluntarily, committed (4-weeks), or designated) from their unit at times of reduced staffing needs for at least four (4) hours will be paid eight dollars ($8.00) per hour or will be credited with one (1) hour of PTO for every four (4) hours worked in float status in addition to their hourly wage. The choice will be made by the employee at the time floating occurs. This is only applicable to regular hours, not overtime or over appointment.54
