Common use of Follow the Job Allowance Clause in Contracts

Follow the Job Allowance. You will be paid a Follow the Job Allowance where you are not provided with transport and are required to start and finish on the job at locations other than the Depot or other usual starting points. This allowance compensates you for any inconvenience which may be caused by frequent changes in starting points. You will be paid once for each day of attendance at work including days which overtime is worked. You will not be paid this allowance for public holidays not worked or during Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, Personal Leave and leave without pay.
