Service Allowance. (a) All full-time employees (previously employed under the Charitable Aged and Disability Care Services (State) Award), appointed prior to 1 June, 1980, shall after 10 years' continuous service with the employer, be paid in addition to the rates prescribed in Schedule B - Pay, Other Rates and Allowances of this Agreement, a service allowance in the following manner: For 10 years of service but less than 15 years 5% For 15 years of service but less than 20 years 7½% For 20 years of service and over 10%.
(b) Payments due under this clause will be made on the usual pay day when other payments under this Agreement are made.
(c) Continuous service with the employer prior to the commencement of this Agreement shall be taken into account when computing service for the purposes of this clause.
(d) Continuous service shall be deemed not to have been broken by absence from the employer due to membership of the defence forces of the Commonwealth in time of war or during any period of special leave for members of the Military Reserve Forces.

(i) Periods of approved leave, with or without pay of less than 3 months’ duration, will be counted as periods of continuous service for the purposes of this provision. Any period of approved leave without pay in excess of 3 months’ will interrupt but not break the continuity of service.
(ii) Service allowance is paid during periods of annual leave, sick leave on pay, special leave on pay, retiring and long service leave etc; and increases the hourly rate for the purpose of calculating time related payments.
Service Allowance. A monthly service allowance of 1% (one percent) of the grade minima rates shall be payable to every employee for each completed year of service for as long as one remains in continuous service. This allowance shall be reflected separately on the payslip.
Service Allowance. Service Allowance. 3.3.1 Service allowance shall be paid at the appropriate rate specified below for all hours worked: • At the completion of three years continuous employment in the State Education Service – 15 cents per hour • At the completion of five years continuous employment in the State Education Service – 26 cents per hour.
Service Allowance. (i) All full-time employees employed at the date of this agreement being filed and who are in receipt of the service allowance as at the date of filing shall continue to receive the service allowance in addition to the rates prescribed in Table 1, Rates of Pay of Part B, a long service bonus of the amount set out in the following scale: 10 years' and under 15 years' service- 5% 15 years' and under 20 years' service- 7½% 20 years of service and over- 10%.
(ii) Payments due under this clause shall be made on the usual pay day when other payments under the Agreement are made.
(iii) Continuous service in the same facility prior to the commencement of this Agreement shall be taken into account for the purposes of this clause.
(iv) For the purpose of this clause continuous service shall not be deemed to have been broken by absence from the facility whilst a member of the defence forces of the Commonwealth in time of war or for periods of unpaid leave granted to the employee by the employer.
Service Allowance. 22.1 The Company recognises the value and loyalty of long term Employees. Where an Employee achieves service with the Company as specified in this Agreement, then the following allowances will be paid accordingly: • Employees with 5-7 continuous years of service as a tradesperson or labourer- $40.00 per week in addition to the rate applicable in Appendix A; • Employees with 7-10 continuous years of service as a tradesperson or labourer- $45.00 per week in addition to the rate applicable in Appendix A; • Employees with 10+ continuous years of service as a tradesperson or labourer - $50.00 per week in addition to the rate applicable in Appendix A. Note: These amounts are specified as gross costs to the Company and are inclusive of the $30.00 paid as a redundancy provision under Clause 21.
22.2 The Employee has the choice of contributing the allowance to ACIRT, C+BUS or taking it as cash payment. This benefit meets the Company’s entire liability for redundancy payments.
22.3 Where an Employee opts to take the allowance as a cash payment the gross cash amount to be paid to the Employee will be net of any Superannuation Guarantee Levy (SGL) amount payable. The Employee will be paid the net amount; the balance will be paid into C+BUS. The combined amount will be equal to the applicable Service Allowance.
22.4 Where an Employee opts to take the allowance as an additional contribution to ACIRT the amount contributed will be net of any FBT amount that may be payable on the allowance.
22.5 An Employee who qualifies for the Service Allowance must advise the Company of their preferred option for disbursement of the allowance within two weeks of their qualification. An Employee may change their election regarding the payment of this allowance from time to time, however the frequency should not be greater than once in any twelve month period.
22.6 A former Employee who rejoins the Company shall recommence accumulating their years of service towards qualification towards the Service Allowance from the date of recommencement.
22.7 In recognition that the time spent during an apprenticeship does not count towards qualification for the Service Allowance, but in recognising the importance of Employee loyalty and the retention of skilled tradespeople, the Company will pay a once-only bonus payment of $2,500.00 to an apprentice who, having achieved their trade qualification goes on to complete a total of 5 years of post apprenticeship service with the Company. Service Allowance. All staff members in receipt of a service allowance in accordance with Clause 24 Service Allowance of the Private Hospital Employees (State) Award at the commencement of this Agreement, shall continue to receive the aforementioned service allowance. Staff who currently receive this allowance are not eligible for the ‘new service allowance’ Clause 17 of this agreement.
Service Allowance. Subject to the terms and conditions of Section 6.16 hereof, McLane agrees to pay Mapco the amount of [***] (the "Service Allowance") (i) within ten (10) business days after the Effective Date of this Agreement, and (ii) provided this Agreement has not been terminated and such store has not been sold, closed or otherwise ceased operation, within ten (10) business days after each anniversary date of this Agreement. The Service Allowance shall grant to McLane the right to be the exclusive wholesaler for the sale and delivery of the Products specified in Section 1.3 and shall be amortized over the twelve-month period immediately suceeding its payment applying the straight-line method of amortization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. In the event that Mapco or any affiliate of Mapco should build, purchase or acquire any new store(s) during the term of this Agreement, Mapco shall notify McLane of such built, purchased or acquired stores and McLane shall pay to Mapco [***] multiplied by the number of months remaining until the next anniversary date of this Agreement after the opening, purchase or acquisition of such store by Mapco or any affiliate of Mapco (except in the case of a store subject to a conflicting agreement with a third party as provided in Section 1.1 of this Agreement, in which case such payment shall be due only with respect to months during which such store subject to this Agreement). Such amount shall be paid simultaneously with the payment of the Service Allowance payment due on the anniversary date of this Agreement immediately following such opening, purchase, or acquisition (or, if sooner, upon the expiration of this Agreement). In the event Mapco or any affiliate of Mapco should sell, close or otherwise cease operation of any stores subject to this Agreement, Mapco shall promptly notify McLane of such sales, closures, or cessation of operation. For each such store which is sold, closed or has ceased operation, Mapco shall refund to McLane on the anniversary date of this Agreement immediately succeeding such sale, closure or cessation of operation, [***] multiplied by the number of months from the date of such sale, closure or cessation of operation through such anniversary date (or, if sooner, upon the expiration of this Agreement).
Service Allowance. 32.6.1 All Employees after five years’ continuous service with the Employer shall, in addition to the rates of pay set out in Clause 32 ‐ Rates of Pay of this Agreement shall receive a service allowance as follows: Percentage % 5 years and under 10 years of service 2.5 10 years and under 15 years of service 5 15 years service or more 7.5
32.6.2 Payment due under this clause shall be made on the usual pay day, when other payments under this Agreement are made.
