For inland and ocean-going barges. Allowed laytime shall be, in order of the precedence, (a) the allowed laytime as agreed by the Parties at the time of barge acceptance, (b) voyage chartered – where the single voyage charter party specifies a laytime allowance per hour or a specific laytime allowance for discharge, then such laytime allowance shall apply, pro rata for part cargo, otherwise the laytime allowance shall be one-half (1/2) of the total laytime allowance as provided in the single voyage charter party, pro rata for part cargo or, if neither (a) or (b) apply, (c) the market rate current on the date the discharging commences for a Vessel of the size and type appropriate to the Vessel's cargo for a single voyage charter from the load port to the Buyer's discharge port.
