Charter Party definition

Charter Party means the agreement between the owner of a vessel and the party hiring the vessel for use of the vessel in transporting a cargo.
Charter Party means the contract of charter or affreightment to be entered into from time to time between Seller and owner of the vessel chartered or hired for the shipment of any Parcel pursuant to this Agreement.
Charter Party or “Charter Parties” means the contract or agreement for the chartering of a vessel either (i) for a specified period of time or (ii) to carry a cargo for a fixed fee from a loading port to a discharging port.

  • Should such failure result in any delay then, notwithstanding any provision in this Charter Party to the contrary, the Vessel shall remain on hire.

Charter Party means a person or group of persons who are traveling together pursuant to a common purpose, under a single contract, at a fixed charge for the motor vehicle, having acquired the exclusive use of the motor vehicle.
